On visiting the folks over at Happy Foodie they had an informative post about those bothersome little stickers plastered on every piece of fruit or vegetable you buy - and here it is.
Besides being useful for craft projects, those little stickers that come on your fruit actually tell you something. Did you know that you can tell if a piece of fruit is organically grown by the numbers on the sticker? If it starts with a “9?…it’s organic. If it starts with a “4?, it’s not. The link to craft projects shows a clever box covered with stickers. I myself have collected the stickers on a sheet of paper. I was going to frame it, but after seeing this box, I think I’ll can my project. Besides, her stickers are a lot more interesting than mine, and I think that variety adds interest…in all things.
